When it comes to naff puns, I plead guilty. Even if I didn't plead guilty and beg for mercy, I am sure that even the most half-arsed forensic team would locate some suppurated fluid that had emerged from my bilious mass, as I chortled in smug satisfaction at the wit contained in the offending feeble pun.
So, what prey tell, is it that has led me down this path of self-confession and shameful naff punnery. The answer is simple: CSI is coming to an online slot near you.

"Let's play.... some slots"
Yes, indeed, the teams from….errr… Las Vegas, Miami, and New York have now made their way onto an online slot near you where they will – no doubt – be waving their ultra violet lights on your bed sheets and looking for those all revealing – and guilt affirming (if you're a Catholic) – nocturnal emissions.
The online slots rendition of the uber popular crime drama is being developed by GTECH G2, the catchily named conglomeration of Boss Media, Finsoft Ltd., Dynamite Idea, and St Minver. There's a lot of talent here so – fingers crossed – the adaptation should be good. It would be a crime, if it wasn't… (you're fired)
Dominic Mansour, the Vice President of Gaming Products – including online slots, at GTECG G2 said: "Everybody loves a great mystery complete with fingerprints, DNA traces and characters with shady alibis. No wonder CSI is an international sensation. Thanks to our agreement with CBS Consumer Products, we can incorporate the intrigue and suspense of CSI within our interactive games to thrill game players and CSI fans throughout the world."
The CSI television program was launched in 2000 and was a global sensation. The crime busting forensic scientists always get their killer, using the latest in fantasy equipment. Basically, it's 90% complete twaddle with a tiny bit of fact that occasionally gets in the way.
However, much like a great online slot machine : if it's fun to play – who cares how factually accurate it is. The combination of an online slot of CSI should spawn something that it both ridiculous and an absolute hoot. Just think of any book written by Dan Brown and you'll be on the money.
